What Can I Expect During My First Visit to a Chiropractor?

During your first visit at Shant Wellness, you will be asked to complete a full medical history questionnaire and "new patient" paperwork. Dr. Limbachia will then consult with you, giving you an opportunity to express your health concerns and expectations. Dr. Limbachia will then dicuss her role in your health care and discuss your health prognosis. She will then complete a thorough physical exam which will include orthopedic testing, reflex assessments, muscle testing and a specific Chiropractic spinal evaluation. In some cases it may be necessary to take x-rays to determine an exact diagnosis. Any x-rays necessary will be taken in our studio.

Upon completion of the exam and xrays (if necessary) Dr. Limbachia will recommend any further treatment. At your next visit she will review the results of your exam and xrays with you and recommend appropriate treatment. Depending on your condition, Dr. Limbachia may schedule a series of visits for care. You will then receive your first adjustment!
